Timarah Bass, LMHC-A, CCIS-II, is the founder of Thrivinity Counseling & Wellness, PLLC, with over 20 years of experience in health and human services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Timarah specializes in supporting adolescent and young adults who are seeking deeper healing, clarity, and personal growth. Her approach is holistic and culturally responsive, integrating the mind, body, and soul while honoring each client’s lived experience. She creates a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully as yourself, process life’s challenges, and move beyond survival into a life that feels aligned, empowered, and fulfilling. While her work is rooted in representation of people of color, she welcomes all individuals who are ready to do the work to heal and thrive divinely, and authentically.
Service Demographic
We support adolescents and adults ages 12-60 who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity concerns, emotional regulation, and life transitions. We hold space for those carrying the weight of being “the strong one,” while managing cultural expectations, personal growth, and the desire for something more aligned.
Integrative Approach
In an ever-changing society, we have adopted an integrative approach to counseling that encompasses ideals from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, as well as Motivational Interviewing.
